The Tinubu-Uba Leadership Network (TULN) has unveiled a robust grassroots mobilization blueprint through the strategic action plans of its Director of Sports, Bitrus Daniel, and Director of Social Affairs, Abrakson Koji, aimed at deepening support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The rollout, which focuses on leveraging sports, social welfare, and cultural platforms, is part of TULN’s broader mission to promote responsive governance, political education, and youth engagement across Kaduna State and beyond.
Sports as a Tool for Unity and Political Messaging
Bitrus Daniel, TULN’s Director of Sports, announced an ambitious five-point strategic framework that places sports at the heart of political education and youth development. Central to his plan is the launch of the “TULN Unity Cup,” a series of local government tournaments designed to increase youth identification with the APC’s progressive agenda.
“Through sports, we are building loyalty, leadership, and peace,” Daniel said. “Each event will celebrate the policies of President Tinubu and Governor Uba by naming teams after key initiatives such as ‘Renewed Hope FC’ or ‘Secure Kaduna United.'”
Daniel also unveiled the TULN Sports Ambassadors Program, which will identify talented young athletes and train them in leadership and social media advocacy. “These youth will not only play football—they’ll become mobilizers for policy awareness and positive community action,” he explained.
His plan also includes strategic partnerships with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, NYSC, and private sponsors to scale impact, along with inter-communal tournaments aimed at promoting peace in conflict-prone areas like Zangon Kataf and Kaura LGAs.
To enhance visibility, TULN will launch a sports-focused media campaign using local influencers, live-streamed events, and hashtags such as #PlayForHope and #TinubuUbaYouth to showcase success stories from the field.
Driving Social Cohesion and Welfare Through Community Engagement
In parallel, Director of Social Affairs, Abrakson Koji, presented a dynamic grassroots engagement strategy aimed at building goodwill for the Tinubu-Uba administration through social support, cultural alignment, and festive interventions.
“We are bringing the government closer to the people through compassion, culture, and care,” Koji stated. “Our ‘TULN Community Day’ will hold across wards, combining music, food, free medical care, and policy sensitization.”
Koji’s plan places a strong emphasis on welfare outreach, particularly targeting widows, persons with disabilities, and the elderly, with TULN-branded relief materials and empowerment kits. “This is leadership with a human face,” he said.
He further announced a deliberate strategy to align TULN with religious and traditional institutions, organizing interfaith dinners, cultural nights, and symbolic community projects to gain moral endorsement and grassroots legitimacy.
Leveraging festive seasons like Ramadan, Easter, and Christmas, TULN plans to conduct goodwill tours and donations, aiming to soften opposition rhetoric and demonstrate the inclusive leadership style of Tinubu and Uba.
A cornerstone of Koji’s plan is the recruitment of TULN Social Mobilizers—influential community figures who will receive training in grievance management and grassroots communication.
A Coordinated Grassroots Offensive
The Directors also revealed a joint strategy to combine their efforts through mega events that blend sports finals with cultural festivals, concerts, and political education sessions.
A new “TULN Vanguard” volunteer corps will be launched, composed of youth athletes, entertainers, and community advocates to serve as the public face of the network and amplify its messaging both online and offline.
According to TULN’s national coordinator, the leadership of Bitrus Daniel and Abrakson Koji represents a “generational shift” in how grassroots mobilization is executed.
“With this structure, we are not just campaigning—we are transforming communities. TULN is laying the foundation for long-term loyalty to the Tinubu-Uba vision,” he affirmed.
As preparations for the 2027 elections intensify, the Tinubu-Uba Leadership Network is positioning itself as a dominant force in Southern Kaduna and across the North-West, turning sports fields and community squares into platforms for policy engagement, social inclusion, and democratic renewal.
