Southern Kaduna Senatorial Aspirant Visits Defence Minister, Hails Tinubu and Uba Sani for Inclusive Leadership
A leading Southern Kaduna Senatorial aspirant, Engr. Ciroma Joseph FNSE, has paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd), describing his appointment as a moment of pride and renewed hope for the people of Southern Kaduna.
Speaking after the visit, Engr. Ciroma said he went with “deep joy” to congratulate General Musa on his appointment, noting that the elevation of a son of Southern Kaduna to such a strategic national position reflects a growing spirit of inclusion in governance. He expressed profound appreciation to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, for what he described as a thoughtful decision that has reassured the people that Southern Kaduna truly matters in the national equation.
The aspirant was accompanied on the visit by the former Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice of Kaduna State, Hon. Amina Sijuawade. He noted that the presence of respected leaders from the zone further underscored the collective gratitude and optimism shared across communities in Southern Kaduna.
Engr. Ciroma expressed confidence that with General Musa serving as Minister of Defence, the Kaduna South Senatorial District would experience improved safety and security ahead of 2027. He described the appointment as a sign that God continues to position sons and daughters of the zone in places of responsibility for the benefit of the wider society.
He concluded by offering prayers for divine guidance, protection, and wisdom for the Defence Minister, expressing hope that General Musa’s tenure will strengthen national peace, reinforce security reforms, and contribute meaningfully to stability in Southern Kaduna and Nigeria at large.
