Hope on the Horizon: Governor Uba Sani’s Bold Strides Stir Optimism Across Kaduna

As the countdown begins toward the official flag-off ceremony this Saturday, August 2nd, for the distribution of 300 trucks of free fertiliser, hope is once again rising across Kaduna State. Governor Uba Sani, widely described as “a silent achiever with giant footprints”, is proving through action that true leadership is not about political noise—but impact.

According to Hon. Victor Mathew Bobai, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to the Governor, while opposition actors remain fixated on social media propaganda and hate speech, the people of Kaduna are witnessing real change on the ground. He said, “The opposition in Kaduna is ironically the safest in Nigeria, because Governor Uba Sani refuses to weaponize state power against critics. Instead, he’s offering governance rooted in service, peace, and development.”

From empowering smallholder farmers with free fertiliser, to reviving rural transportation, driving education reforms, expanding skill acquisition centres, and improving security infrastructure, Governor Uba Sani is setting a new standard of governance in Kaduna. His strategic push for agricultural productivity is projected to deliver a bountiful harvest by December 2025, and farmers across the 23 LGAs are already preparing for the planting season with renewed hope.

Last year’s free distribution of 500 trucks of fertiliser benefited over 120,000 farmers, leading to significant yield improvements. Now, this year’s follow-up initiative—coordinated by the fertiliser distribution committee chaired by Commissioner Malam Murtala Dabo—is a strong signal that the Governor is not relenting.

Bobai also noted that while others are getting slammed with 30-year bans from parties like the SDP, their disoriented associates are running into unstable coalitions doomed to crash under the weight of ego and confusion. “Kaduna cannot be distracted by circus politicians,” he said. “This is a state under focused leadership.”

As the state prepares for the flag-off event this Saturday, the message is clear: Governor Uba Sani is not just leading Kaduna—he’s transforming it. And the people, especially the farmers, are ready to reap the rewards.
